Field Herping has turned into a great love of mine, nothing like going into the wild with some provisions, a field guide, and most importantly a camera. I will use this as a forum to post all of my recent adventures as well as a few past adventures. But before i do that I need to start off with a history of myself.
My name is Tommy Wilder and have lived in Orem, UT all of my life apart form a two year LDS mission where I lived in Miami, FL. As a young child I loved nothing more than to go out and try to find anything that slithers, crawls, climbs, flies, swims, or waddles. If I couldn't go outside I took my adventures to the library where I would check out as many books as I could about animals and their habitats. As I grew so did my interest in animals especially reptiles and amphibians, some of my first pets were a pair of Oriental Firebellied Toads. These little guys got me started on a path that would lead me to many more pets and eventually exposed me to my current love of Field Herping. Luckily my new found hobby has not diminished my love of pets. I hope you enjoy the posts! Feel free to leave any comments or questions you have!
